It's painted right across the trailer for a reason. Smoked meat, melted cheese, a soft roll and fresh slaw on the side. People passing through town stop for it, and one Brisbane family says they always stop in on the drive.

Bec's trailer

A backyard smokehouse with a big following

Gourmet Drovers is Bec's yellow trailer at 105 Rouse Street. Hand-painted signs, chalkboards on the lawn, old farm machinery out the front and a few tree stumps for seats.

The meat is smoked for burgers, brisket, ribs and wings, and it comes with conversation. “Great food. Great yarn!” is how one regular put it.

In 2025 Gourmet Drovers joined the Tenterfield Farmers Market too. And one happy customer even left a review wishing Bec luck with a full size restaurant one day.
